In this essay the author tries to answer the question how the public spac, empty by its nature, can become the space that forms the society and the social life, and the author shows a paradox here: 'The architector should design a vacuum, but you can only build a closed structure. This means that the architecture that is working on building some kind of a public space should become anti-architecture at the same time. Groys thinks that nowadays the public space is created by media and by tourism, but tis public space of transparancy is not built but virtual, whilst the architecture and the design turn to authenticity and honesty.
